What about body acne?
I have a friend who breaks out on her back and butt. She has tried using proactive and while it works for her face, she still breaks out on her backside. Anyways, are there any products out there that work specifically for body acne?

RE: What about body acne?
I had acne on my back for a long time, I started putting my hair to the side when shampooing, and conditioning, making sure the hair did not touch my back. After drying off I sprayed toner on my back, let it dry for a few min, and put a robe on before doing my hair so that my hair was not touching my skin...it worked!

RE: What about body acne?
I use that Neutrogena body clear scrub and spray. It does make a diff when used regularly. I just put it on a loofah and scrub my back and let it sit for a bit.

RE: What about body acne?
Body acne is tough!! Mostly because its hard to treat and diagnose. Usually due to an internal issue,. since the little follicles and bulbs become impacted before reaching the surface. We tend to want to scratch a bump, not even knowing its there, and this can cause a double impaction leading to a boil. MY TOP recommendation to someone who gets acne on their back and rear is to ACTUALLY SEE A DERMATOLOGIST to get blood work done. Normally the type of test they run may show an slight elevation in white cells which denotes a very mild form of sebaceous acne, OF WHICH A 2 week course of specific antibodies could CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!! ANOTHER OPTION is a friend of mine who WORKS for proactive (she has been a client for years but I do not specialize in skin conditions so I NEVER recommend my line for this) Her name is ROSAYLN JOHNSON and she's an account exec. RODEN & FIELDS, that is very familar with Fitz-Skin-Types, Acne IV-V,. here is her Facebook https://www.facebook.com/rosalyn.johnson.56?fref=ts and you can write to her directly to get the EXACT TREATMENT PROTOCOL that RODEN AND FIELDS makes for this issue. Tell her Julie Robins referred you <3

Ok forget that link, HERE IS ROSALYNS site https://rvjohnson.myrandf.com/Pages/OurP...utionsTool

I never thought to do that but it does make sense! I will have to share this with her.

RE: What about body acne?
If you can find a bristle brush with a long handle, skin brushing helps a lot. I have seen my friend get rid of all her back acne in 4 months doing it 3 times a week.

RE: What about body acne?
Most people who have pimples on the chest or again also have acne on the face. A survey of canadians who have been mentioned dermatologists for acne treatment found that 92% had facial pimples, and 45% and 61% and acne at the chest and again, respectively. An american examine found that 47% of acne patients had blemishes on the face alone, at the same time as fifty two% had pimples breakouts on each the face and lower back. Whilst humans who have acne see their docs, however, they commonly forget about to say that they have got lower back zits or chest acne. Acne that is not at the face does not get treated due to the fact people don’t are looking for help for it.

Zits at the torso, the neck and the scalp, and even the buttocks may be slight to excessive. The sort of zits that breaks out at the frame, but, is normally the same as the sort of acne that breaks out at the face.

Pimples vulgaris or common acne paperwork inside the identical way on the body as it does on the face. The difference between zits vulgaris on the frame and zits vulgaris at the face is that the skin at the body is tougher and less flexible around pores.

“friction” pimples, or pimples mechanica, most customarily breaks out at the pores and skin wherein straps or pads in uniforms or jerseys rub in opposition to the pores and skin and trap sweat. The friction among the skin and garb breaks down the liner of pores. The trapped sweat over-hydrates the skin so that it wrinkles and the topmost layer of pores and skin dies. Flakes of pores and skin get lodged inside the openings of pores and oil and pimples micro organism collect interior, making blackheads and pimples escape. Most people who get friction pimples also have facial acne, however in about 2% of cases the problem is restricted simply to pimples at the frame in which pores and skin is constricted with the aid of clothing.

Acne conglobata is a “burrowing” shape of pimples that may appear at the face, neck, shoulders, chest, or buttocks. Acne come out in organizations of two or three, after which coalesce into a huge, painful, darkish pink lesion.
Pimples conglobata is a one-of-a-kind story, although. It’s a kind of zits that isn’t surely because of clogged pores. It’s as a result of fluctuating hormones and normally must be dealt with medically. Pimples vulgaris and friction pimples at the torso, but, may be dealt with with the equal forms of treatments used to deal with facial pimples, only at a more potent concentration.
